Project Description
501-601 Surf Avenue involved a tenant-in-place lobby renovation of two multifamily buildings. The lobby was modernized with updated and more resilient finishes, new lighting a new entry canopy, a dedicated doorman area, an enlarged storefront to bring in additional daylight and a new entrance along West 5th Street.
CHALLENGES
The renovation of heavily trafficked lobby while maintaining full occupancy of the building required smart phased construction and tenant protection.
The property is located in a flood zone, presenting unique challenges.
